Join us for this wonderful opportunity to spend time together over a six-week period to help you develop and deepen your own practice and to explore the necessity of the heart on the journey of your sacred path. For those who have joined us before, this is a chance for you to check in and to deepen and to further commit to your practice.

The heart is central to every spiritual tradition, and we will look to see how we can genuinely bring our hearts more into our practice in this day and age. We will explore how as Nisargadatta says ‘The mind creates the abyss, the heart crosses it.

This retreat is for people who sincerely want to go deeper in their practice and understand the necessity of this in our day and time. Please note that this is not a beginner’s retreat, but is not closed to you if you want to try a deeper dive into awareness and awakening through the heart.

In Each Session We Will Share:

  • Teachings - There will be inputs on the true nature of the heart, how we can access its greater wisdom, how to develop our practice towards awakening from where we are at, and what we may do realistically to contribute meaningfully to situations of the our times.

  • There will be an opportunity to explore your questions about the heart, meditation, or about any aspect of your spiritual life.

  • Meditation - we will sit together to explore an ancient heart based self-realisation practice that will give you a powerful way to access your true nature and share your compassion with the world around you.

  • Journaling - to help process your experience, gain self awareness, personal insight, and steer your course onwards.

Plus there will be various sessions throughout the retreat to introduce you to aspects of

  • Mantra, you will learn a powerful transformative mantra, that can help access the depths of your heart and which also brings great peace to the beholder.

  • Yoga - there will be a number of gentle but embodied practice yoga practices with our special guest yoga teachers who will help you feel more present and open in your heart both physically and spiritually.

Your Hosts
Yoga will be guided by one of our beautiful yoga teacher friends, all other aspects of the teaching will be led by myself.

We are hoping to have a very special guest to help us with the session on Mantra.

What You Will Need

  • Your computer or device running Zoom

  • The meditation props you require

  • A mala if you have one

  • A yoga mat

  • A journal and pen

  • A quiet place to practice

  • Anything else you need with you. (Chocolate is recommended)

Benefactors help us directly by helping support bursaries for those who would benefit from attending, but who may have difficulties with the fees at this time, and by additionally supporting the security, growth and spread of our work. As a thank you, benefactors receive lifetime access to studio recordings of the mantras, meditations, and transcripts for their own personal use.

Bursaries are available if the fees would be difficult for you to manage, please write to us to enquire.

You will be emailed a Zoom link and further suggestions for preparation for your retreat a few days after you book.

Requirements:
Your Practice - You should have a regular meditation practice and be at the stage where you feel you are open to go a little deeper with yourself, and to be teachable.

Health Issues - If you have are currently taking medication for depression or have other mental or emotional health issues please write to us before booking. Please only consider booking if you feel safe in yourself to do this retreat. Your wellbeing is the most important thing to us.
